BHJC Speaker Series: Jewish Feminism in the Face of Racialism with Amanda Berman

AMANDA BERMAN is co-founder and president of Zioness, a new organization that is activating and empowering Jewish women to stand proudly in progressive spaces. Amanda worked previously on a range of Democratic campaigns, and in law school, she served on the Bet Tzedek Legal Services Clinic; the Executive Board of the Cardozo Advocates for Battered Women; and as a Fellow in the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Clinic.

Amanda received her undergraduate and Masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. In addition to her work at Zioness, she is the Director of Legal Affairs at The Lawfare Project and an officer on the executive board of the Friends of the IDF, Young Leadership New York.
