Israel: The Next Generation with Rabbi Gamson & Eldad Halachmi

Rabbi Uri Gamson, Director of Education

Rabbi Uri Gamson is an educator, researcher and renowned lecturer. He was formerly head of the Oral-law Department at the Beth Rivka College and co-researcher for the "Secrets of Judaism" project at the Steinsaltz Center. He now leads the educational program of I.Next.G, which gives tens of thousands of Israeli young people the opportunity to discover the wisdom of Judaism. Rabbi Gamson resides in Nurit, Israel, with his wife Chani and three children.

Eldad Halachmi, Vice President - Strategic Partnerships & Development

Eldad Halachmi was born in Israel in 1961. He was an active leader of the Betar Youth Movement, and served as the National Chairman of the movement in Israel. After completing his army service in 1983, he served as an emissary of the Jewish Agency in the United States and Canada, and in other capacities in that organization. He also served as an advisor to Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir. Eldad worked in resource development at Bar Ilan University, and was CEO of the Friends of Israel Firefighters . He recently completed a 9-year tenure as the Vice President for Resource Development at Ariel University where he managed to establish a strong presence of his legacy both on campus and around the world. He earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Bet Berl College. He and his wife, Rhona, have three sons.
